The Lighthouse

As the light comes by in a pub are some men. Every time the light came they cheer it goes past.

It was a stone cold night and in the lighthouse is a old man and he is charge of the lighthouse. He was sitting down doing some writing.

Then a heap of wind came in the window and blew out the candle and he could not see. The lighthouse stopped working so he went up the stairs and had a look at the light  and he took it off it’s hinges and he fell over and he smashed the light. But a boat was going to hit the lighthouse. The keeper got every one from the village and they walked up the hill with their lanterns and held them up shining so the boat went by safely.

FIE - dots

Every week our class does FIE. For FIE we do dot to dots. We had to be very accurate and precise.

The first time we did it we were given a booklet with dot to dot’s in it. We could not use rulers or pen and we could not turn the paper but you are allowed to use a rubber.

The dots activities are called Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment. I really enjoyed it because I learnt heaps.

FIE teaches you how to be neat. You have to check and change your idea. You make a plan and  learn the proper names for things.

Craft Day

In the morning when we got to school there were lots of crafts in our class. Then we had to make a sand saucer. I had yellow flowers and my friend made a sand saucer with purple, pink and orange flowers and green leaves
 I had that to.

Jayden and I made lego crafts for the competition. I made a plane.it was blue and white and it had a toilet in it.The judges gave out heaps of first places and fourth too.

Spooky Forest

I see crunched up leaves on the ground. I see a swampy green rivers flowing. I see a moonlit trees. I see heaps of dead trees.

Lune et lautre

In a creepy wolf infested forest there was a little girl called Luna. She was busy pulling a bucket out of a well.  All of a sudden a  spooky  flash of light was  glimmering upon her.  A flicker of light turned her away. All of a sudden a giant eye was in front of her. She screamed at the top of her lungs and the ghostly figure it raced and panicked and ran away like a lightning bolt.

The shimmering ghost brightened up the night. He stood up with fright. He coughed pixie dust over Luna and she looks happy as the pixie dust rains over her. The glimmering eye picked a fence and dangled it like a wind chime. He picked her up and put her down gently then reached in the well and grabbed the bucket.

As he floated up in the sky like a jellyfish she could see his eye in the bottom of  the bucket knowing she had made a friend.
